The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age reported earlier this week that the company has been circled by private equity firms including Apollo Global Management, Washington H. Betr appears to now be in the box set to win the licence from the WA government, with a formal announcement expected later this month.
Winning the licence would mean operating WA’s retail betting outlets and taking bets at racetracks and online.
